KWITHU KITCHEN WAS BORN IN 2010

Kwithu Kitchen was born in 2010 from a simple, but creative idea of preserving abundantly grown local tomatoes from area surrounding Mzuzu City, which would otherwise go to waste from spoilage. The knowledge and skills of processing and preserving tomatoes was imparted onto a group of 20 women who would later become whole owners of the business as equal shareholders. In 2012, the first jars went on sale in Mzuzu City. Today, Kwithu Kitchen's premium garden tomatoes are found at all leading chain stores in Malawi and are used by a loyal clientele base.
